While in my first of two consecutive pregnancies, I began to search for a service that would assist first-time moms with organizing themselves and their home before delivery. I was not successful! This motivated me to create Parenting First. Parenting First is a professional service that helps first-time parents prepare and organize themselves and their home before and after delivery. We provide organizational materials such as checklists and reminder lists to ensure those "must have" and "mommy do" items for mom, dad, baby and home are not forgotten…and when baby arrives…we have daily log sheets to record baby´s feeding and diapering activity.

In addition, Parenting First has published a handbook series, "What Every Mommy Needs" for those who do not require services privately. The desire for first-time moms to have access to essential information before baby arrives in a condensed version is what inspired the series. Knowledge of the basics before baby arrives is priceless! It can really make a major difference in your transition to parenthood. When a parent becomes empowered with information, resources, etc, there is no limit to the power of parenting! Parenting First is a service that I hope will make a difference in the lives of first-time parents everywhere!
